  • Local Playback Progress: Your audio playback history, custom speed preferences, bookmarks, and list of saved stories (My Shelf) are stored directly on your physical Android device.
  • No User Account Profiling: Audio Shelf does not require you to sign up, create profiles, or log in, ensuring your identity is completely anonymous.

2. Explore Section & Third-Party Content

Audio Shelf integrates and plays audio content. To deliver and stream public or curated stories, the application may communicate with:

  • Content Servers: Requests for audio feeds, cover art, and story metadata are processed securely without attaching any personal account identifiers.
  • Google Play Services: Used to manage app installation integrity, license checks, and optional Google Drive backup sync if manually configured by the user.
  • AdMob Advertising: May deliver non-personalized or personalized ads to keep the application free. AdMob uses device identifiers to measure ad performance.
  • Crash Diagnostics: We collect anonymous stack traces during runtime errors to push maintenance updates. This diagnostic data contains no files or personal identifiers.
