  • Local Storage: Your study timetable schedules, subject color codes, textbook bookmarks, and recently played video cache histories are saved locally on your device.
  • Study Notes Synchronization: Personal notes and study drafts are stored locally. If you choose to sync notes across devices, they are backed up securely to our secure database server.

2. Third-Party Libraries & Video Integrations

To compile Class 6-12 NCERT video lessons and educational materials, upScore communicates with:

  • YouTube Services (YouTube Client APIs): Curated educational videos are streamed directly from YouTube. Your interactions with the video player are subject to Google's YouTube Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • PDF Hosting: Chapter PDFs are loaded from secure repositories. We track no individual download metrics.
  • Google Play Services: Manages license integrity verification and installations.
  • AdMob Advertising: May deliver non-personalized or personalized banner advertisements.
  • Crash Analytics: Captures anonymous crash metrics (telemetry traces) to diagnose issues and push app updates.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

You maintain complete control over your study workspace:

  • To delete all your localized timetables, bookmarked videos, and cache records, clear the app data cache in Android settings, or uninstall upScore.
  • For synced study notes, you can delete notes directly in the app to purge them from our cloud database.
